Patriotic Fingers

Patriotic Fingers is part of my "Seeing Voices" program. For the past five years, I have sung the National Anthem for many ceremonies. Four years ago, I added sign language throughout the year. I volunteer to sing and sign for many patriotic songs for many programs. This gives me another chance to promote sign language throughout western Pennsylvania.

I was so excited to be asked to perform the National Anthem and American Sign Language for Walk America for the March of Dimes 2007. The crowd really seemed to love it.

2005/2006 Miss Brockway Shannon Muirhead and her twin sister Sherri sing the National Anthem while I sign during the opening ceremonies of the 40th Anniversary of the Brockway 4th of July Festivities 2006.

I sung and "signed" the National Anthem for Walk America, the annual walk to fight birth defects.

A quick smile before Singing and Signing the National Anthem 2006 for the Altoona Curve.

I am getting ready to sing and sign the National Anthem at the 2005 Altoona Curve game >
I am at attention just before signing  and singing America the Beautiful at the Elk County Fair. I have volunteered to perform at the Elk County Fair since I was nine years old. I have sung and signed for the Reynoldsville Home Coming Ceremony for the past 3 years. This is the first time I sung the National Anthem. This was during the opening ceremony for the Jefferson County Fair. I was eight years old. As you can see, I have always been a proud American.
